As commercial architects, we have vast experience working with national and local developers throughout the region. Our schemes range from large projects for housing developments to student accommodation, mixed developments and care villages, for both social and privately-owned sectors. Our close links to the local authorities and knowledge of local planning policy enable us to create viable and realistic plans in terms of planning constraints. We have a considerable amount of experience in negotiating planning approvals and working on Greenbelt and Brownfield sites.

JLRW has a vast knowledge of designing multiple housing schemes, ranging from select developments of several bespoke houses or apartments, to larger projects of more mixed-range properties. Our design approach is passionate and investigates the best solution with care and consideration. We make every effort to ensure that our designs compliment their surroundings and are sympathetic to existing architecture and neighbouring properties. Our portfolio is reasonably extensive, and we are happy to be involved in large-scale developments comprising hundreds of flats and houses, through to smaller developments of 4-8 flats. Our style and past projects include contemporary, traditional and sympathetic conversions of Grade II listed buildings.

Devil in the detail
All of the architectural staff at JLRW have a mixed technical and planning background; this ensures that at all design stages, consideration is given to construction methods, as well as the fire and building control requirements. We have a very close working relationship with independent Building Control companies and Local Authorities. We always work in a full 3D BIM (Building Information Modelling) format to ensure that our technical information is produced to the highest standards, accurate, thoroughly workable, and coordinated on-site. If your project already has planning permission, we will happily lead you through the construction stage for your project.
